10/19/2011: We thought it would be an interesting experiment to look at the Yards Per Carry that each NFL defense is giving up to opposing runners (RBs and rushing QBs) so far this season. Our intent was to find a RBs who face the defense that allow the most yards per carry for the remainder of the season. However, our surprise was that a certain QB tops the list.

We determined the YPC for every opposing defense, then took each player’s remaining schedule and came up with an “Average Yards Per Carry”.

Simply put, the players with the highest YPC will face the easiest rush defenses from now through week 16.

We also added YPC for opposing defenses during the W14-W16 fantasy playoffs.

Hopefully this helps you make some waivers and trade decisions, or simply gives you hope for your existing roster.
