Week SIX BYES:  Panthers, Bears, Jaguars, Saints

QBs OUT:

  • Cam Newton
  • Jay Cutler
  • Drew Brees

Replacements:

IND QB Andrew Luck vs NYJ: Luck came off a 28 point game last week vs GB. The Jets are without Revis and a pass rush, and can be had.

ARI QB Kevin Kolb vs BUF:  Yes, I know…but Kolb has already had three 15+ point games this season and now faces BUF. BUF has given up 30 fantasy points twice in the last two weeks and less than 10 only once. This is the singel easiest matchup in the league this weekend.

MIN QB Christian Ponder vs WAS: Ponder has been a decent QB2 all year with only two performances under q0 fantasy points. He faces the redskins who are banged up in the secondary and have given up no less than 14 fant pts and over 23 pts twice. Expect him to throw short passes to Rudoplh and Harvin all day.

WRs Out:

  • Steve Smith
  • Brandon Marshall
  • Marques Colston

Replacements:

ARI WR Andre Roberts vs BUF LCB Aaron Williams: Roberts was a waiver favorite a couple weeks back after a 23 pts game vs MIA. This week he and Fitzgerald face the BUF secondary but Roberts gets the better corner matchup on Aaron Willams.

CIN WR Andrew Hawkins vs CLE NCB Dimitri Patterson: Hawkins has had a couple solid fantasy performances so far this year. He faces what has been a soft opponent in CLE, but CB Joe Haden is back and will be all over A.J Green and trying to prove a point. This will leave Hawkins on Patterson. Without Haden CLE has been the 3rd easiest matchup for fantasy WRs.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley vs IND CB Justin King:  The IND secondary is in really bad shape. CB Justin King has just been released and Davis is still injured. Granted Sanchez sux, but if anyone will benefit, it will be Kerley.

SF WR Michael Crabtree vs NYG RCB Prince Akumara: The Giants can get gashed by opposing WRs. Even Josh Gordon of the Browns went off for 20 fant points last week. They have had no answer for WR2s all year and Crabtree will see Prince Amakumura who has shown he can be beat. 6th easiest matchup for fantasy WRs.

SEA WR Goldent Tate vs NE RCB Kyle Arrington: New England has bene a bit more improved, but not by a ton. RCB Kyle Arrington has been getting picked on all season. Expect more focus on him this week giving Tate some chances to be productive.

RBs Out:

  • Deangello Williams / Jonathan Stewart
  • Matt Forte
  • MJD
  • Sproles / Pierre Thomas

Replacements:

ATL RB Jacquizz Rodgers vs OAK: You must be sick of hearing me talk about Quiz. Turner is still getting touches and doing his best to capitalize. This week they face OAK who has allowed 27 fantasy points a game combined ot opposing RBS. Backups like Lance Ball, Ronnie Hillman and Lamar Miller have averaged 8 fantasy points a game. Quiz will see more snaps than they did.

IND RB Vick Ballard vs NYJ: Jets have no answer for the run game. They are the 5th easiest matchup for opposing RBs and give up 21 ft pts a game to the position. Donald Brown became a shocker scratch and will be out 2-3 week.s Ballard can be started with confidence as a flex this week.

NYJ RB Balil Powell vs IND:  On the other side of the ball in that game is and under performing run game in the Jets. If you scooped him up then this is the week to play him. Bilal Powell played more snaps than Shonn Greene for the second straight week Monday night. He faces IND who is a top 10 matchup for opposing RBs.

TEs out:

  • Greg Olsen
  • Jimmy Graham

Replacements:

Jared Cook TE TEN vs PIT: Jared Cook caught five passes for 37 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings in Week 5. Cook saw no targets in the first three quarters as the Vikings built a 23-0 lead. Then he posted a 5/37/1 line in the final frame. “Jared Cook was one of our biggest playmakers and I wasn’t able to get him the ball enough early in the game,” Hasselbeck said. Expect Cook to be a bigger part of the gameplan against the Steelers Thursday night.

GB TE D.J Williams vs HOU:  With Jermichael Finley likely put for Sunday Nights game, D.J Williams steps in. Williams had 4 targets in relief of Finley last week and caught two of those for 20 yard in one series.

PIT TE Heath Miller vs TEN: The Titans are the leagues best matchup for fantasy TEs. The give up lots of TDs and Heath Miller has been one of the leagues best at the position. You didn’t draft him but this week is the week to start him.

DST
Buccaneers DST at home off a BYE vs KC
with Brady Quinn (KC leads NFL in turnovers). Bucs had an extra week to prepare, I like their chances to get to Quinn.
